Crane & Maple was launched in 2018 so that I could share my love and insider knowledge of Japan with you.

Hi! I’m Kristina. Ex- travel agent, Japanese language teacher, hobby photographer, nature enthusiast and major foodie. I am also wife to my Japanese hubby and mum to our two genki sons. We just moved from the picturesque Northern Rivers in Australia to gorgeous Nagano Japan at the beginning of 2025. You can read more about my fascination with Japan here.
